Join more than a dozen experts in family entertainment center (FEC) management as they share insights and experiences on how to develop, plan, and run an FEC. IAAPA Rookies and Newcomers: FEC 101 is a soup-to-nuts program for those who want to enter this industry as an FEC operator, or for those who want to expand their network and brush up on the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to grow their business. The one-and-a-half-day program looks at everything from how to research your market to how to conduct day-to-day operations. It also includes a welcome reception at Main Event, a full day of classroom learning at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, an EDUTour to Fun Spot America and reserved seating at Monday's Lunch and Learn event. It also includes admission to the FEC Reception on Monday night at the Hyatt Hotel.

IAAPA CERTIFICATION: 14 credit hours
COST: $450 IAAPA members; $600 nonmembers. Tickets should be purchased in advance as space is limited and may sell out. Course fee includes: IAAPA Attractions Expo registration for one, course tuition and support materials, daytime meals and refreshments, Saturday social event at Main Event, Classroom session on site at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games, EDUTour and dinner at Fun Spot America, reserved seating at Monday’s Lunch and Learn, FEC Reception at the Hyatt, and a certificate of attendance.
