Tracks: Future of EdTech Inclusion & Special Education

Technology is a powerful tool for reinforcing learning, stimulating student engagement, incentivizing behaviors, and tracking student progress. For students with autism, educational technology can promote positive growth in essential learning targets and be a primary reinforcer for applied behavior analysis programs. Learn how technology is best used, why it is reinforcing in some situations, when to use technology, and what technology tools have been effective in promoting maximum growth for students at all grade levels. Tools for tracking progress on discrete trials as well as alternative communication tools will be shared. In addition, you will discover when and where technology is counterproductive for students with autism and how to plan accordingly.
