Although AI has a long way to go to before fully being integrated effectively in K-12 settings, work at Renton Prep and the University New South Wales Sydney shows what exists now and what can become a model for the future of school IT. In this workshop, experts Dr. Michelle Zimmerman and Dr. David Kellermann will show participants how to program AI “chatbots” in Microsoft Teams. Bring your own device and get hands-on experience in building AI that will answer direct, basic helpdesk questions using Stream. Also discover how to use other Microsoft technologies, such as Power BI, to select alternatives to multiple choice tests and push the boundaries of what is possible now and in the future.
