C236 | Critical, Compelling, Controversial: Three Cs on Being an IT Leader (Room SOUTH 320D)

Effectively leading and managing any school system’s information technology department has never been more mission critical. The challenges involved in providing equitable access to powerful learning tools while assuring that IT systems and instructional processes are designed to both protect student data and address cybersecurity are just two of the compelling and controversial realities of our times. Engage in conversation with three veteran IT administrators (from a private school, a public school, and a state education department) to learn how they plan for and implement IT strategies that both maximize technology’s potential for academic success for all students and minimizing the inherent risks.
