Start using stop animation to assess student knowledge in an innovative way. Stop motion animation is a technique that uses technology to make static objects appear to be moving. Students learn how to integrate educational objectives into a form of technology and art that is now one of the most popular creative careers. Stop motion animation offers students endless possibilities to think creatively, depict abstract ideas, and learn about process and progression. In this session, participants will use stop motion to create simple 2-D or 3-D animations to serve as formative or summative assessments for future educational practices.
