Plans to update the Hazard Communication Standard to Revision 7 of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals were published in the Fall 2018 Unified Agenda. Specific changes are unknown, but a number of modifications might be included: updated health hazard class definitions, modified flammable gas categorization criteria and revised precautionary statements. In addition to the Revision 7 changes, you need to be familiar with the updates the United Nations made to the editions published between Revisions 3 and 7. How can you prepare for these changes?
