Faculty will discuss incorporating pelvic parameters into practice, present alternative fusion techniques to get proper sagittal balance and address fused flat back correction strategies. Hear about a case and decide how you would approach the patient.

Upon completion of this session, participants should gain strategies to:

  • Recognize pelvic parameters and how to incorporate them in routine practice for short segment fusions;
  • Identify various fusion techniques to obtain proper sagittal balance in short segment fusions;
  • Describe the limitations of each technique in obtaining proper sagittal balance.
