Change is a given in K-12 education, especially in the area of educational technology. However, how do we move from mere change to true transformation? Why do we want to do this? How do we help our stakeholders move from grudgingly accepting change to enthusiastically embracing the transformation that can occur when everyone is informed, engaged, and actively contributing innovative ideas and solutions? The purpose of this workshop will be to look at ways to move from simply managing change in our organizations to understanding what organizational transformation is, and how to move forward in a way that supports long-lasting enhancements in the educational experiences of our students.
