We use robots in grades K-5 for learning and fun. Byt we don't just throw robotics into our lessons, instead we work to integrate robotics into instruction in meaningful ways. For example, we use robotics in Social Studies with map skills, we integrate robots with word study, and we use robotics in teaching/assessment of Hebrew/Judaic studies. Students from kindergarten to fifth grade will share their favorite robots, why they love them, and what they do with them. Attendees will get hands on time with robots to learn how they work. We will work out ways to logically integrate robotics in thoughtful and meaningful ways. Robots include Beebot, EV3, Sphero, Dash/Dot, Ozobots, Keebo, Cubetto, and more.
