Educators crave the light-bulb moments where we know that learners are engaged, connected, and growing. We actively seek to create opportunities that awaken learners to the life potential earned through grasping content objectives and applying them in a meaningful and purposeful manner. The “ah-ha” moments that augmented reality and virtual reality provide are just the tip of the iceberg; as catalysts and tools, AR and VR have the potential to foster deep learning experiences at every grade level. Informed by the XR ABC Framework, we will understand effective and efficient ways of harnessing the power of these emergent technologies to engage every learner across grade levels and content areas.
