ET18 | Creating the Future of Work through Esports (Room EXPO HALL BOOTH 4837 eSports Arena & Theater)

Esports engages students in learning and awakens career curiosity as they recognize that many aspects of their favorite pastime are viable career options. This session will demonstrate current uses of esports-infused curricula at middle and high schools, with particular focus on a disruptive format or embedding CTE and state-approved elements into pathways. Student panelists from various Miami-Dade County Public Schools will share their first-hand experiences and answer questions alongside leaders and educators from the North America Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF).
