Access conducted a study to uncover what is holding HR back from having as much strategic influence in their organizations as they would like. We found that HR is indeed still viewed as filling roles that are more administrative than strategic.
We asked participants about what they need to achieve greater administrative efficiency to evolve their roles to be more strategic and do more meaningful work. Nearly two-thirds (63%) say a lack of automation hinders them, and 45% cite a lack of technological integration across HR silos.
We’ll highlight 5 key ways HR can address efficiency barriers and achieve higher performance through investments in automation, better technology integrations and support, and new process improvements.
