Some writers of standards, codes and voluntary programs have adopted precipitation rate limits as a means of reducing runoff and therefore improving irrigation efficiency. This session will challenge the thinking that precipitation rate limits are the answer and propose alternate solutions for eliminating runoff while improving efficiency.
