By creating awareness of and implementing changes in the way school facilities operate, districts can better use taxpayer dollars and resources, conserve energy, improve efficiency and increase occupant comfort. This session will focus on 20 key choices districts can make to build an energy-conscious culture and reduce energy expenditures. They’ll share examples of schools using a facility energy management plan to improve their systems while integrating the subject matter into course curriculum.
