Evaluating the outcomes of new housing models is critical for innovation and advancement in senior communities. This SAGE-based post-occupancy evaluation (POE) will highlight the lessons learned from a student-directed review of an award winning co-living home at Garden Spot Village in New Holland, Pa. Presenters will provide detailed analysis of areas of the house and demonstrate how design features were assessed against universal design principles. Since the goal of the POE was to provide feedback on the design before additional houses were constructed, the team will also share their proposed design ideas for future projects to enhance function and foster health and well-being.
