Choosing an atypical method of educating an atypical child means the “struggles of” and “with mores” will likely find you, no matter where you live. Gifted and 2e kids are just more, and if you live in a rural area, both resources and peers (for you and for your kid) can be especially hard to find. Stacie will share her perspective regarding options and support for this segment of the gifted population. Stacie also lends her perspective to GHF Press’s newest book, Perspectives on Giftedness: Sound Advice from Parents and Professionals, where she and other GHF writers offer their varying perspectives and expertise.
