“Hello. I’m the inspector and I’m here to audit your facility.” What’s your first instinct? Shut down the production line? Call the team into a secret conference room? Run? Audits, both internal and external, are a critical process step in driving continuous improvement within our corporate safety programs, and they should be embraced and supported – not feared. In this session, we’ll review the auditing process, discuss what you’ll need to establish successful corporate programs and provide examples of effective internal “inspection readiness” structures. As leaders within our organizations, we can either run for the hills or establish programs to better enable our teams to feel confident and be permanently “inspection ready.”
