Too often, budgets, operational priorities and profit are prioritized over how workers feel emotionally or how safe they are physically. This often leads to less-than-desirable outcomes. The reality is that these concepts are connected: Workers who don’t feel safe aren’t physically safe either. In this session, we’ll focus on eight categories of psychosocial hazards and how mitigation of them can lead to other safety benefits. You’ll gain an awareness of the connection between an organizational focus on psychosocial hazard mitigation and the organization’s overall effectiveness.
