Mental health and substance use challenges are becoming more prevalent and complex in the current COVID-19 pandemic work environment. Now, more than ever, employers must have meaningful tools to help employees deal with challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorder and even thoughts of suicide. During this session, we’ll review the latest Total Worker Health promising practices for advancing worker well-being and strategies for workplace supported recovery programs. You’ll learn about recognizing the signs of mental health challenges, increasing awareness of available treatments and resources, and fostering a supportive psychosocial environment that considers issues such as stigma and privacy.
