New Cold Mill Complex in Ukraine — Technologies and Achieved Performances (Room 307)

The complex will produce 1.6 Mtpy of cold-rolled quality strip products: more than 600,000 tons will be galvanized coils, with another 170,000 tons polymer coated. The project includes the construction of a cold rolling continuous tandem mill combined with a pickling line, as well as two strip processing lines for zinc, zinc aluminum and polymer coatings. The installed technologies will ensure Metinvest will be able to produce in an environmentally sustainable way at competitive production costs, with emissions much lower than today's standards. The first coil will be produced by Q3 2024.
