360-degree video provides an immersive experience that lets viewers feel like they are really at a location, instead of just seeing a part of the area like in traditional video. This method has been used to create a series of 360-degree videos at Burns Harbor that have been used for training of new personnel and virtual tours for recruiting and visitors. This paper includes methods for capturing and creating the 360-degree videos, viewing options including virtual reality or standard computer monitors, and examples and suggestions for those interested in using the technology themselves.
