Asset Optimization — Capabilities Shown on a Use Case in Continuous Casting (Room 315)

A lot is said to be asset optimization or smart maintenance. Many projects are still at the beginning. This presentation shows by means of a converted use case in the field of continuous casting plants how smart maintenance can function. In this practical example, various applications were introduced (among others: condition monitoring, mobile maintenance management system, digital documentation, digital twin, predictive maintenance application, etc.), connected and optimized to form an asset optimization complex.
