PDTTM is a proprietary technology developed and patented by Tenova for roll texturing and was introduced in the industrial production in 2016. The first installations in different plants show PDTTM's capability of satisfying the requirements for high-quality steel and metal sheet for high-end applications, and further expands users’ possibilities through process customizations. Improved roll wear, optimized combination of roughness and peak count, optimal waviness, and crater distribution are some of the offered benefits.
