For the last two years the RFID Application Development Lab (RAD Lab) has been working on a project for one of the largest agricultural cooperative lending agencies in the Canadian and Alberta beef industry. The lending agency, which offers farmers affordable financing for feeder and breeding livestock, needed a process to track the livestock assets, so that can easily begin and terminate loans.
