This session will cover some of the major use cases for wireless Bluetooth tags and beacons. You'll learn about the capabilities of the technology, as well as the limitations. The lecturer will explain how this new technology compares with existing auto-ID technologies, including barcodes, QR codes, UHF RFID and battery-powered BLE. You'll also learn about energy harvesting and wave computing.
