Pretreatment Real-world Hacks for Cost Savings
Are you responsible for reducing pretreatment system costs, but don’t know where to start? Pretreatment is complex and includes an array of inputs and parameters that can make it difficult to uncover hidden costs. This session will share a step-by-step roadmap that will help you identify immediate cost-savings opportunities and build a plan for implementing efficiency improvements across your pretreatment process. Learn how you can apply savings hacks in the following areas: chemistry, energy, water management, maintenance and quality control, and labor/throughput.

Lowering Operational Cleaning Cost Using New Technology
Recent advances in both aqueous and solvent parts cleaning technologies have provided significant cost reduction, increased throughput, and parts which meet today’s stringent cleaning specifications. In addition to reducing manufacturing costs, new parts cleaning technologies reduce energy consumption, while providing “greener” manufacturing operations that address environmental health and safety concerns. This presentation will provide a comprehensive look at emerging new cleaning agents from the standpoint of safety and performance; increased part throughput combined with reduced energy and labor; and state-of-the-art equipment design.
