Building a Premier Talent Pipeline
Reverse engineering is a term that is often used to examine a new and fresh way to problem solve. This workshop will examine workforce development from the viewpoint of how an educational institution seeks to create partnerships with machining and welding companies. If you’ve already exhausted your options of sourcing candidates, this workshop may be for you.

Employee Engagement - How SixAxis Reduced Turnover on the Manufacturing Floor
Employee turnover in is a problem for all manufacturing companies. SixAxis conducted anonymous employee surveys to try and find out why our employees were not engaged and were leaving. We found that some of the smallest things were super important to our employees and realized that information was not always passed around in a timely or transparent way. We formed an Employee Engagement Team and started chipping away at any/all grievances that had surfaced in our surveys. We allowed representatives from all teams/departments/groups to be part of the team and part of the solution. We stumbled onto a method for engaging employees, breaking down barriers between groups and building trust back into all these relationships. We want to share our findings with the rest of the manufacturing world. ESG is a hot button right now and we feel that we can help!
