When it comes to safety, many industries overlook the concept of “prevention through learning.” Learning is a dynamic activity that requires the learner to be in a mode of inquiry. So, how do we move an organization that’s pretty darned safe toward become a learning organization? This session will introduce ways we can help all levels of the organization move toward inquiry. We’ll explore what blocks learning in comparatively safe work environments such as aviation. Together, we’ll discuss how learning at all levels of an organization can result in safer outcomes.
