Student mental health and school climate are critical priorities for today's schools. This interactive session explores the proven impact of certified school therapy dog programs, including reducing anxiety, improving attendance, supporting crisis response and enhancing school culture. Drawing from real-world experience in a Wisconsin high school, attendees will learn practical steps for launching a program, including certification, policies, risk management and community engagement. Participants will also see a certified therapy dog in action and leave with resources and strategies to bring this impactful initiative to their own district.
