De Pere School Board turnover led to dysfunction and strife among members. In a reflection meeting, it was noted that none of the new members had any orientation other than meeting with the superintendent. The solution? Create an onboarding process to train new board members. This purposeful onboarding manual was discussed at each meeting and approved by the whole board of education. In a way, re-orientating current school board members! Attendees will receive De Pere’s document for use and reference.
