With aging buildings, changing instructional needs, shifting enrollment and limited resources districts need informed decision-making. This session will be broken into three sub-topics:
- Long-Range Facilities Planning: What does the Long-Range Planning Process include? Leveraging evidence-based ways to improve student achievement and staff workplace satisfaction will also be covered in this portion.
- Working with Stakeholders to Implement the Plan: Learn best practices for moving from planning to implementation once your long-range facilities plan is approved.
- Maximizing the District Investment: During this portion, discussion will encompass how to set goals for each phase of plan implementation, share those with consultants and contractors, and measure progress towards them to ensure projects deliver value in support of educational, operational and community needs.
Participants will leave with practical tools, templates, peer examples and expert guidance.
