The Pulaski Community School District (2023 PLC at Work® Model District) has reimagined professional learning by integrating student-centered coaching into its instructional framework for both students and staff. Moving beyond “fixing” teachers, SCC centers on student needs, using evidence and data to set goals and guide instruction. In this session, leaders will share a “slow-roll” implementation that scaled coaching from pilot to a sustainable, district-wide model. Participants will learn how SCC strengthens the PLC process through a “thinking partner” approach to the four critical questions of learning. Attendees will gain practical strategies to build collective teacher efficacy, align coaching with evidence-based practices and foster strong partnerships, collaboration and shared ownership of student learning. Participants will leave with a scalable blueprint for using coaching to drive student achievement and system-wide growth.
