As districts across Wisconsin face rising principal turnover and more new leaders enter the field, the need for intentional, high-quality principal development is greater than ever. Too often, educator effectiveness is treated as a compliance task rather than a meaningful system for growth. This session highlights how the Wisconsin Framework for Principal Leadership and Educator Effectiveness can be leveraged as powerful tools to develop principals, strengthen capacity and drive continuous school improvement. Participants will explore current research on leadership and retention, gain practical strategies to support principal growth and leave with ideas to transform educator effectiveness into a catalyst for sustained leadership development.
