The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) was established in March 2022 with the mission to accelerate health outcomes for all Americans. Starting with just a handful of people, the agency has now grown to over 500 total federal employee and contractor staff. Throughout its rapid staff growth to meet the agency's mission, the agency has experienced many unique yet rewarding challenges.
