ICT documentation has long been treated as a closeout deliverable rather than an operational asset. That model is no longer sufficient in connected environments where buildings, campuses, data centers, security systems, wireless infrastructure, and outside plant networks must function together over time. This session explores the shift from static as-builts to living systems of record that support operations, resilience, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and change management. Attendees will gain a practical framework for improving documentation usability, continuity, and lifecycle value, while reducing the risks created by incomplete, outdated, or disconnected infrastructure records.
