Power Generation Fundamentals for Water Utility (Room 128 A&B)

Water Utility applications have unique power generation needs.  This course will describe what factors to consider when designing a water utility emergency or non-emergency power system, as well as what to include in specifications so the power system meets the site’s needs. Over the years, U.S. EPA continually developed emissions limits for both emergency and non-emergency generator sets. For larger applications, a non-emergency generator is now subjected to emission levels commonly referred to as EPA Tier 4 Final. In this course, we will understand what those emission limits are, and the technology used to achieve them.
