Coloration troubleshooting is complex because variables across the supply chain can affect color consistency. Fragmented records and undocumented expertise can lead to repeated investigations and production delays. Preserving expertise from different production settings and training new professionals are vital to the global textile industry. This presentation explores how AI supports coloration troubleshooting, using large language models to connect fragmented information and help manufacturing teams improve quality control. This combined approach can help identify root causes and minimize recurrence. The discussion highlights ways to improve color communication and support right-first-time dyeing, while exploring future directions for AI-assisted manufacturing.
