Algae management remains a persistent and critical challenge in routine pool maintenance. The industry offers a wide range of products and treatment programs designed to address algae growth; however, effective control requires a clear understanding of the underlying science. This course explores the biological and environmental factors that contribute to algae formation in swimming pools, with a focus on recent research related to resistant algae strains and treatment efficacy. Participants will gain insight into why certain prevention and treatment strategies are more successful than others.
