The "S" in ESG - Social Equity in Real Estate (Room Salt Palace, Room 250AB)

Investors, Owners, and Tenants are asking more and more information about how buildings and building owners provide benefits to the surrounding community and promote social equity. This is the “S” in what is traditionally known as ESG – Environmental, Social, Governance. What does this really mean, and how does the real estate community fully address their social responsibility? Three real estate companies will provide examples of incorporating social responsibility into their portfolios and the business case for it, including how they decided which projects to implement, how they measured and reported on impact, and how the community responded.
