A properly implemented program of risk assessments can assist in the prevention of injuries, fatalities, property damage incidents and other losses. This not only helps prevent human loss and suffering, but assists in the effective management and finance of any business or organization. After completing this seminar, you’ll be able to contribute both to the maintenance of a safe work environment and the process of formal risk assessment. You’ll also understand the legal requirements for risk assessment, the principles of risk assessment (including hazards, risk and control measures), the five steps of risk assessment, how to perform HAZOP studies, the Hierarchy of Controls, risk assessment review, and recordkeeping.
