In this session, Terry Hughes speaks of his years of experience in the oil and gas industry, how he has experienced the “ripple effect” of unsafe acts – both professionally and personally – and how our actions often are mimicked by the people around us. By sharing the experience of his own family tragedy, Terry will illustrate the importance of safe behaviors at home and in the workplace. Using a mixture of humor, wisdom and personal experiences, he’ll encourage you to look into your own personal “treasure chest” for reasons to work and play safely. You’ll be asked to make safety personal and make the right choices so you’re not robbed of life’s treasures.
