Many international organizations use contractors on a daily basis for projects, construction, maintenance and more. Contractor safety has been one of the key challenges organizations face in the management and control of contractors and sub-contractors – and it’s not just about compliance with statutory legislation. In this session, we’ll examine some of these challenges and opportunities that arise from the use of contractors, and discuss some steps to enhance the journey to contractor safety excellence, as well as how to get contractors to embrace the organization’s safety culture that relates to improvement in safety performance.
