After this session, attendees should be able to:

  1. Discuss national and regional trends of STDs in college-age people.
  2. Discuss emerging STD issues related to antibiotic resistance, new diagnostics, PEP and PrEP and vaccine development.
  3. Describe typical and atypical clinical presentations of STDs and related dermatologic conditions.
  4. Discuss clinical management of challenging STD cases in college health settings.

Program Abstract:
STD Showtime is a 3-part interactive session: Part 1 will discuss national and regional trends from the recently released CDC 2017 STD Surveillance Report and highlight clinical hot topics from the 2018 National STD Prevention Conference; Part 2 will be a rapid fire interactive quiz on typical and atypical STD clinical presentations; Part 3 will discuss challenging STD cases relevant to college health providers.
