Learn the world’s best trump, trick-taking game. It uses a special deck with a fifth suit that is Roman numerals and is trump. Partners change every hand. Bidding is once around to determine the aggressor who then calls out a high trump card that they don’t have. The person with that card is the aggressor’s partner, but it isn’t announced. Part of the early game is figuring out who your partner is. The Taroky game predates tarot card reading, which used the pretty illustrations on the trump suit. Anyone who understands trick-taking card games will be able to play after a quick talk on the rules.
