Statistically significant, quantifiable data identifies a relationship between school board actions (policy and governance) and student achievement. The Eau Claire Area School District has worked to meet its strategic plan through policymaking. The presenters will discuss the importance of creating new and updated policies, and outline the standard process they use to engage community stakeholders in policymaking.
