Despite advances in research and technology, implementation of evidence-based practices remains suboptimal, and the lag time from research to implementation often takes decades. Additionally, 1 in 4 hospitalized patients suffer from preventable harm. Therefore, there is a need to develop effective strategies to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice in order to effectively and sustainably reduce patient harm. Agile Implementation model is an implementation tool has been effectively utilized to improve the delivery of evidence-based care in hospital settings.
