Learn from success stories of integrating health and learning to reduce barriers to student achievement. A panel of school/district leaders and community partners will discuss how multi-sector partnerships match community resources to school priorities in the areas of mental health/trauma, community/family engagement and achievement gaps. Presenters will share the goals, implementation steps and evidence of success from the collaborative efforts so participants learn strategies they can implement in their own districts. The session will also include an explanation of the national Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) Model as a framework to guide local efforts.
