This is an interactive leadership and culture development program for officers. The focus is on leadership skills including mentoring and succession planning; critiquing others; effective delegating; preventing freelancing; technical report writing; tackling administrative tasks, including creating community education programs and standard operating procedures; dealing with subordinate issues; conflict resolution; post-incident analysis; building morale; team-building exercises you can do with your crew; and why teams fail. Students will participate in an interactive team-building exercise designed to motivate personnel, create team unity, and help leaders achieve success.
