This course is presented by the Fire Department Safety Officers Association and is based on the third edition of Dave Dodson’s book Incident Safety Officer. It covers the skills required to become a safety officer, including reading buildings, reading smoke, reading firefighters, reading risk, and reading hazardous energy. The course prepares the student for the FDSOA ProBoard exam.
