The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) is the leading global organization for fire professionals. IFE members represent the whole spectrum of the fire sector. The members share a commitment to envisioning, preparing, mentoring, and building for the future, ensuring that the fire profession remains relevant and valued, protecting people, property, and the environment from fire. The institution has more than 11,000 members worldwide occupying positions of responsibility and influence in all aspects of the fire service. All members are awarded appropriate certificates to validate their status. Today, the IFE-USA membership includes more than 500 individuals
from all parts of the country. The Annual General Meeting is open only to members and invited guests. The Educational Conference is open to anyone wishing to attend.
